From this platform, I appeal to all those concerned in the government and private sectors to rally around the national team during the upcoming stage of the qualifiers due to the sensitivity of the stage and its extreme importance, as we all aspire to achieve the World Cup dream for the first time in the history of Omani football, which is undoubtedly a great goal that we aim to achieve through the cohesion and concerted efforts of all.
The Czech coach continued, saying: We hope that the campaign will be widely popular among all segments of Omani society in the coming period, so that it will positively contribute to pushing the Reds forward and give us the green light to unleash our unparalleled optimism and enthusiasm during the qualifying matches. This will certainly not be achieved except with the efforts of the sports system and the integration of its roles, duties and responsibilities that it will undertake during the coming period.
Chelafi expressed his confidence and optimism about the Reds’ chances of qualifying for the World Cup finals for the first time in their history. In this regard, he explained, “We are clinging to our hopes and chances of qualifying for the World Cup finals for the first time in the history of Omani football. From my humble personal point of view, I see that our chances of qualifying are there, given the closeness of the chances and levels between all the teams in all three groups, which enhances expectations of fierce competition and a heated and raging race to snatch one of the eight tickets to qualify for the World Cup finals. This is a legitimate right for all teams, of course, and we will fight to reserve our World Cup seat according to our capabilities and available potential.”
The Czech coach continued his speech by saying: I am filled with optimism and endless confidence in the capabilities and potential of the Red Men, who will inevitably fight to achieve their dream and the dream of the Omani fans to qualify for the historic World Cup, and they will not spare a drop of sweat in order to achieve this dream. Accordingly, we will accelerate the pace of effort and work as much as possible to be worthy of the Omani fans’ trust and confidence in us. We hope to be present on time and strongly and not to disappoint them. All we hope for during the next stage is for everyone to stand up, mobilize and rally around the national team, in order to achieve our aspirations and goals in achieving the desired historic dream.

He added: The media discourse must be more profound, clear and transparent during the next stage. Likewise, the Red players must show the utmost caution stemming from a sense of participatory national responsibility. I am confident and certain that the players are aware of the magnitude and size of the responsibility placed on their shoulders and will certainly not spare any effort or a drop of sweat in order to subjugate the desired historic dream and crystallize this dream into a reality and a truth as bright as the sun from its east.”
